A Good Recipe For Cassava Bread

Cassava bread is known to be one of the best desires that one can eat after their meal because of its sweet, delicious taste and its unique texture. So many people love this dish and actually want to learn how to make this simple dessert. So for those who would want to start making it, here is a simple recipe that may help.

Now one does not need to worry about it taking a long time because the cooking time is so short. The long part would be to shop for the ingredients because there are actually a lot of ingredients to get. Of course when the ingredients have already been bought, it is now very easy to make this cake.

For the ingredients, one will be needing some cassava as the base, a small carton of milk, just one egg, a little bit of oil, two tablespoons of flour, some baking powder, and lastly, lime juice. Now for the milk, take out the carton and put one third of it inside a small cup. Always make sure to just use probably a spoon of each of the ingredients so that not too much will be used.

The first thing to do here would be to simply grab a large bowl and start adding all of the ingredients together. Start with the cassava, the flour, the baking soda, and the sugar. After that, add the egg milk, the oil and the lime juice and start stirring the mix in order to make a very nice and thick batter.

Once the batter is already ready, then the next step would be to take a frying pan and heat it up with some oil. The one thing to make sure is that the oil should never stick to the pan or else it will just burn up. Once the oil is slightly mixed with the pan, then dump in the batter and allow it to stay there.

This part of the process is rather easy already because one has to just wait for the batter to form and turn into the bread. Now one of the most important things to take note of would be to put the heat on medium so that the cake will not be burned. If that is already dealt with, then one must just wait for five or ten minutes to pass.

After a maximum of ten minutes, the bread should already be formed without any uncooked parts. Just make sure that the dessert is cooled down first because if it is too hot, then it is still too soft in the inside. Now from there, it can be served with some grated coconut if one would want an extra kick in the taste.

As one may observe, it is actually so easy and quick to make cassava bread. It does not even take more than thirty minutes because the cooking time is only a maximum of ten minutes. Even a person with no idea how to cook or bake may do this easily.
