Rather than viewing the whole idea as a painful punitive process, you design a strategy where you reward yourself after having achieved some set targets. This turns the whole process into fun activity, with double motivation. You are not only escaping from obesity but enjoying yourself when doing it.

It is also important to keep healthy snacks close by to limit accessibility to sugars that are unhealthy. It is much more difficult for you to drive to the nearest store for a box of candies when your snacks box is packed with nicely sliced mangoes. For this reason, the strong urge for sugars quickly get suppressed by healthier alternatives available.

Sweets craving can either be a habit or a desire for additional serotonin which normally provides a feeling of happiness.
