Students at local high schools and universities are always excited when they get the chance to discover every new job which comes on the market. Their teachers know that career coaching has always been an essential part of the education system. Fortunately there are many television shows on television which are focused on doctors and nurses. Some of these programs are very realistic and they give an accurate view about medicine and hospitals. An intelligent female teacher knew that her upper level pupils were smart enough to learn from one of these job projects which were readily available.
She gave the entire class a chance to choose a specific job that would be beneficial to them in the future. The school made sure that certain businesses would be involved in this project when it was first produced. She really was delighted to learn that some of her students were looking forward to volunteering their time at the hospital. This trio was assigned to three different departments when they arrived at the medical facility.
All of these were great assignments which would lead to a good future job for everyone involved. Every staff member at this medical place tried to make the young people feel very welcome in every way possible. The young female who worked with oncology became very involved with her older female patients since they were very needy and wanted human company throughout the day. She took the time to comb the women's hair and to recite poetry to them before bedtime.
Unfortunately she had become too attached to one of the older female patients who had eventually died from this disease. This strong young woman decided to continue with this career field even though her heart was now broken. She would simply have to learn how to emotionally disconnect from any person who was living within a hospital or other care facility.
On the other hand the pediatrics unit was filled with laughter and joy throughout the day and night. All of the children located in this unit were only there temporarily and would soon be discharged. Eric was assigned to this location and he truly liked working with everyone within this department. He had decided right then that this was truly the place that he wished to be after graduation.
Cindy had the chance to learn all about a variety of heart diseases while she was placed with the cardiology unit. She knew that this was the place to obtain all the necessary knowledge which would help her family. Unfortunately many of her relatives were currently suffering from all types of chest pains and other health issues.
During the last week of school every student was asked to write a report about their job adventure. They were indeed pleased to complete this task since it gave them the chance to share their unique experience. Other instructors decided to utilize this particular shadowing program and it still remains popular all over the world.
